Mineola, NY: 9-year-old boy is now recovering at home after being hospitalized with the thirteenth case of the West Nile Virus in Nassau County.

The Department of Health reported the individual became ill on August 30 with fever, nausea and headaches. He was hospitalized on September 2, eventually being discharged on September 11.

The latest case brings the total on Nassau County to 13, of which three deaths have resulted.
