Authorities say there appears to be no link between letters sent to Capitol Hill and the blast yesterday at the military recruiting station in Times Square.
The letters, which were sent to the offices of several U.S. representatives, contained a ten-page political manifesto and what appeared to be a holiday card, but with photo of a man in front of the recruitment center coupled with the words “Happy New Year, We Did It.”
But the Associated Press reports that the FBI found the sender of the letters in Los Angeles and concluded that they have no connection to the attack.
