11:30PM EST: A tug-boat pulling a large barge has crashed into a “party-boat” about three miles from the Verrazzano Bridge. The boat is overturned, and multiple people are reported to be in the water. NYPD aviation, and US Coast Guard choppers are on the scene and have rescued one person from the water. Diver have also been deployed from the choppers – and searches are being made by other rescue boats.

UPDATE 11:45PM EST: Two people have been rescued by avaiatin, and two have been found trapped underneath the overturned boat and are DOA.
