Disgraced former congressman Anthony Weiner has found a buyer for his apartment in Queens, the New York Post reported Friday.
At the height of the scandal in June, Weiner and his pregnant wife Huma Abedin quickly pulled their two-bedroom co-op apartment off the market, but quietly kept it up for sale.
Weiner and his wife are hunting for a larger space for their growing family, and have been looking at apartments outside of the ex-congressman’s Queens and Brooklyn district, sources said.
Abedin and Weiner have been seen strolling the streets of Manhattan together, while he was recently spotted at a TriBeCa building.
Their 875-square-foot pad in Forest Hills was listed at $449,000 in June. A Madeleine Realty receptionist confirmed that the listing is currently under contract.
Madeleine Realty agent Joe Pollini and Weiner’s representative both declined to comment.
