NYS Gov. Cuomo on Tuesday said that for the next six months, his administration will focus on “jobs, jobs, jobs.”
Cuomo said the administration will soon be seeking bids to run a minimum $10 million worldwide “New York Is Open for Business” campaign.
Cuomo said he will not appear in any of the ads for the business development campaign, which is modeled after the old “I Love New York” marketing plan.
Cuomo said he will also soon be announcing the long-awaited formation of 10 regional economic development councils aimed at spurring local job creation.
The councils, expected to be announced as soon as Wednesday, will be made up largely of higher education and business leaders from each area, sources said.
