New Jersey motorists who need to renew licenses or registrations can again do so on Mondays.

The state’s 39 Motor Vehicle Commission agencies will open after officials reversed a decision last summer to close on Mondays to save money. The decision resulted in longer lines and waiting times.

The agencies will be open between 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. weekdays and until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
