According to a report in the Daily News, the suspect who has been named the “Pharmacy Bandit“, after holding up numerous drug stores in Marine Park / Flatbush, is actually a retired NYPD officer. The suspect, 36-year-old Salvatore DelleCave, had been arrested two weeks ago, and was released on $10,000 bail. Just two days after being released, he robbed two more drug stores, but was arrested once again by Detectives outside his Brooklyn home.
DelleCave, held up at least seven stores near Marine Park since March 3.
