A JetBlue flight bound for Aruba was forced to return to John F. Kennedy International Airport just minutes after takeoff Saturday.
Flight 757 took off around 11:29 a.m. and returned about 10 minutes later.
JetBlue officials said Saturday they were investigating if a possible birdstrike was to blame.
There were 104 passengers on the Airbus A320 at the time and no one was injured.
The plane was taken out of service to be inspected.
A bird strike in 2009 forced US Airways flight 1549 to make an emergency landing on the Hudson River.
