Pakistani officials said today they’re interested in studying the remains of the U.S.’s secret stealth-modified helicopter abandoned during the Navy SEAL raid of Osama bin Laden’s compound, and suggest the Chinese are as well.
The U.S. has already asked the Pakistanis for the helicopter wreckage back, but one Pakistani official told ABC News the Chinese were also “very interested” in seeing the remains. Another official said, “We might let them [the Chinese] take a look.”
A U.S. official said he did not know if the Pakistanis had offered a peek to the Chinese, but said he would be “shocked” if the Chinese hadn’t already been given access to the damaged aircraft.
The chopper, which aviation experts believe to be a highly classified modified version of a Blackhawk helicopter, clipped a wall during the operation that took down the al Qaeda leader, the White House said. The U.S. Navy SEALs that rode in on the bird attempted to destroy it after abandoning it on the ground, but a significant portion of the tail section survived the explosion. In the days after the raid, the tail section and other pieces of debris — including a mysterious cloth-like covering that the local children found entertaining to play with — were photographed being hauled away from the crash site by tractor.

And this is the same Pakistan that gets bilions a year from the US, cant halp wondering if GWB was still president and Rumsfeld Sec. of state if they would still dare have that chutzpah.
Number 2 it is worst than you posted. Pakistan is no friend to the USA and will sell to the highest bidder. obama is no friend to America because he is racking up the debt and putting China more and more and more in control of America. China are buying the worlds natural resources, they have plenty of dollars to spend to buy American companies and you will see the transfer of American’s tech to China. Remember China is still a communist country. You saw yesterday they stop buying salmon from Norway because they awarded a Nobel peace prize to somebody who is in China’s jails because of encouraging freedom in China.

Very simply, the helicopter’s skin is supposedly coated with materials that make it difficult to be seen by radar — the Chines will want samples — and it had devices to limit or hide the amount of heat detectable from its engines. I would bet that there is some unique characteristics on the helicopter blades that also make it harder to find on radar. The SEALs had to blow up the unflyable helo before leaving the scene, but I doubt that they were able to demolish all of the secrets — hence the great Chinese interests. Remember, also, that the Chinese will want to make something like that for their choppers, or figure out ways to counter the US improvements in future radar designs.
