[PHOTO LINK BELOW] More than a half a ton of Matzos were burned on Shabbos, after a fire broke out in a Yerushalayim building. According to reports, the fire department received multiple calls for a heavy smoke condition on the upper floors of 24 Rechov Ovadia, where many residential apartments are located.

Upon the arrival of the fire department, the fire was located in the ground floor, inside a Matzah Bakery. Fire officials told the media that they found two gas canisters, possibly used to heat the oven, burning. Miraculously, they had not exploded.

The bakery was used by Karlin Stolin, and more than a half a ton of Matzos were destroyed.

Boruch Hashem there were no injuries reported.
