Rep. Anthony Weiner made a 2013 mayoral run all but official on Wednesday – and dropped hints he’ll have Bill and Hillary Clinton in his camp for this go-around.
“I have a passing interest in the management of New York,” Weiner said in one of his many asides during a much-hyped speech about health care reform – a favorite of liberals.
“Hey, newsflash, I’m interested,” added Weiner, who ran in 2005 and was chased away by Mayor Bloomberg’s bankroll in 2009.
“It would be exceedingly coy of me, especially in this town, to present that I’m not interested in being mayor,” he added.
Strong Clinton ties could help Weiner stand out in a crowded 2013 Democratic mayoral primary, which is likely to include City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Controller John Liu, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and Public Advocate Bill de Blasio.

Seems like this is the reason for the waiver he’s seeking for NYC regarding the bill he promoted – Obamacare.
get ready for higher taxes and less service
An endorsement from the Clintons?!?!
Well – I guess if you find the Clintons’ values and hashkafas to your liking, then this endorsement will mean something to you.
Of course if you do NOT find the Clintons’ values and hashkafas to your liking, then this endorsement will ALSO mean something to you.
