A bandit posing as an exterminator is wanted for at least five burglaries in Brooklyn, cops said Thursday.

The crafty crook – wearing a black uniform and holding a cannister in hand – first struck on Jan. 2, when he knocked on the door of a Coney Island resident and said he had to fumigate the home, police said.

The thief swiped a stash of jewelry from inside the West Second St. home before the resident returned, cops said.

He went into four other homes since Feb. 14 wearing the same disguise, police said.

The suspect is about 28 to 35 years old, with a stocky build and a thin mustache.

Police ask anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
