12:48PM EST: The Lakewood Police Department has just closed off two streets, after a suspicious package was found in front of police headquarters, YWN has learned. As of this time, Third Street between Lexington Avenue & Clifton Avenue has been closed, as well as the entire Municipal Parking Lot. The bomb squad has been requested to respond from the New Jersey State Police.

UPDATE 2:50PM EST: The package has been properly identified, and has turned out to be nothing more than a personal belongings and clothing.
