Forget that Barack Obama-Hillary Rodham Clinton re-match — or that Obama-Clinton ticket for 2012 — or maybe even that Hillary-for-President revival in 2016.
The secretary of State has again shot down rumors she might resign and challenge Obama in the 2012 Democratic primaries, or — another rumor — that she and Vice President Biden might switch jobs ahead of Obama’s 2012 re-election bid; she also appeared to rule out another presidential on her own in 2016.
“I am very happy doing what I’m doing, and I am not in any way interested in or pursuing anything in elective office,” Clinton said this morning on Fox News Sunday.
Clinton also told Fox host Chris Wallace, “I have said it over and over again, and I’m happy to say it on your show as well. I am committed to doing what I can to advance the security, the interests and the values of the United States of America.”
The full exchange:
WALLACE: Secretary, one final question. You made some news recently in Australia when you ruled out running again for office in 2012 and 2016. Why?
CLINTON: Well, first of all, I love what I’m doing. I can’t tell you what it’s like, Chris, to every day get to represent the United States, and it’s why I feel so strongly about every issue from, you know, START to Afghanistan.
WALLACE: But are you — are you categorically saying that you are done with political office …
CLINTON: I — I have said …
WALLACE: … elected office?
CLINTON: I have said it over and over again, and I’m happy to say it on your show as well. I am committed to doing what I can to advance the security, the interests and the values of the United States of America.
I believe that what I’m doing right now is in furtherance of that, and I’m very proud and grateful to be doing it.
WALLACE: So you’re done with elective office?
CLINTON: I am. I am very happy doing what I’m doing, and I am not in any way interested in or pursuing anything in elective office.

While ny senator, she also said she wasn’t going to run for any other office!
When a politician like. Her says no it means yes!
Of course I believe her (LOL).
Would a Clinton ever tell a lie?!?
She is over. Dug her own political grave.
Best news I’ve heard since Pelosi won the Senate Minority leadership.
How can you tell when a liberal is lying?
WHEN THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING!!
Seriously folks, you dont think she would indicate now that she will challenge Obama in the primaries? She would have to wait a little longer to retire gracefully from the SecOfState job and then go after Obama full blast!
Well we all know that G. washington never lied therefore his state of the union speech took only afew minutes and for that same reson clinton gave the longest one!!!! (what does it mean LOL?)
Ah ligner!
