Tonight! NYPD Battles Shomrim In Greenfield Softball Classic @ 18th Ave Park

Brooklyn —Tonight’s weather forecast predicts a cool, clear night for the 1st Annual Greenfield Classic, a softball game featuring the 66th Precinct of the NYPD versus the Boro Park Shomrim. This seven inning game, hosted by Councilman David G. Greenfield, will take place tonight, August 18th, at 6pm SHARP, at the ball field at Gravesend Park (56th Street and 18th Avenue) in Boro Park.

Thanks to generous sponsors, tonight’s game will be free and open to the public and will include free drinks and refreshments on a first-come first-served basis. “This is the perfect weather to come out and watch a softball game,” said Councilman David Greenfield. “We look forward to a great community outing featuring two amazing organizations in the community – the 66th Precinct and the Boro Park Shomrim.”

All community members are encouraged to attend tonight’s game and to come before the 6pm start time for the best selection of seats and refreshments.
