Like Sarah Palin and Carl Paladino before him, Bernard Kerik, who led the NYPD on 9/11 and now sits in a federal prison in Maryland, has come out against the proposed mosque near Ground Zero.
Kerik, who was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to to tax charges and lying to White House officials, has posted opposition to the mosque plan to his Twitter account.
Kerik calls the building of a mosque “absolutely outrageous.”
The comments also appeared on Kerik’s Facebook page, and his blog.
Kerik said for those groups that sponsor Islamic terrorism “this is the trophy that will stand as a symbol of victory,” adding “this has nothing to do with religion.”
Doing time has not stopped Kerik from speaking his mind before. Earlier in his case, Kerik posted on Twitter about his arraignment on new charges, blasting the prosecutors.
