Williamsburg – In response to the current foreclosure crisis, the UJO has partnered with the Center for New York City Neighborhoods (CNYCN) to offer free assistance to home-owners facing foreclosure or having trouble keeping up with their mortgages.
The UJO’s foreclosure attorney and counselors are available to assist people whose mortgages have become unaffordable due to job loss, reduction in income, or other reasons.
UJO counselors will analyze clients’ financial situations, determine the best courses of action regarding their mortgages, and work with lenders and servicers to obtain modifications or refinancings.
The service is free of charge, and you do not need to be behind on your mortgage to receive help.
Visit the UJO, 32 Penn Street (between Kent and Wythe), for assistance. Assistance is also available after 5:00 pm on Tuesdays by appointment.
Call 718-643-9700 ext. 241 or 243 for more information or to make an appointment.

The UJO logo is almost a mirror image of the Orthodox Union logo. Do they have to hold EVERYTHING in reverse?
