Baruch Rofeh Cholim, HaGaon HaRav Yaakov Yosef Shlita has been released from Shaare Zedek Medical Center, where he was hospitalized in the cardiac unit since Sunday, reportedly after sustaining a “cardiac incident”. It is now reported that the rav was treated for pneumonia.

During his hospitalization, many many prominent rabbonim visited, praising the rav’s efforts regarding the Emanuel case and wishing to show solidarity. Among those who visited were Rishon L’Tzion HaGaon HaRav Moshe Shlomo Amar Shlita, HaMekubal HaRav Yaakov Addis Shlita, HaMekubal HaRav Binayahu Shmueli Shlita, and of course, members of Shas.
