The CIA lost track of Osama bin Laden before the 9/11 attacks ever took place, and still has no good idea of where he is, the nation’s spy chief admitted yesterday.
In a rare assessment on the war on terror, CIA Director Leon Panetta conceded that the United States hasn’t had good intelligence on bin Laden’s location since 2000.
“It’s been very difficult to get any intelligence on his exact location,” he said.
“He is, as is obvious, in very deep hiding . . . He’s in an area of the tribal areas of Pakistan.”
It’s been a decade since officials had “the last precise information about where [bin Laden] might be located,” Panetta said.

See the last Ba’al Haturim on Parashas Vayishlach regarding Ba’al Chanan ben Achbar.
Why is this a Chidush? Just tell us when (if) they find him!
