11:15AM IL: The High Court of Justice has accepted a compromise agreement presented to the court on Sunday morning, hopefully brining an end to the Emanuel Beis Yaakov case. It appears that Justice Minister Prof. Yaakov Ne’eman became personally involved and the sides sat at his home for many hours on motzei shabbos to complete an agreement.
The sides, the Ashkenazi and Sephardi girls will complete the school year together, in desegregated classrooms, but the curriculum will be modified, breaking from the regular standard classroom subject matter. This is in line with Aryeh Deri’s original call for an agreement, suggesting that bring the girls together in a camp-like atmosphere, not school, and swallow the pill for two weeks to avoid parents going to prison.
Slonimer Chassidim have agreed to remove the physical partition in the school and in return, the Sephardim will withdraw all court petitions. Justice Edmond Levy at about 10:20am Sunday morning announced the agreement is accepted and that the parents are released to their homes.
Yahadut HaTorah has announced it is dismantling the protest solidarity tent outside Massiyahu Prison. A faction meeting is planned for 12:00pm to decide what arrangements will be made to formally greet the fathers who are being released from prison as we go to print.

The “partition” noted above was a DOOR in a flimsy wall that came down within weeks of the opening of the Chassidi school, three years ago, on the second storey of three floors. Attorney Bass stated that statements of physical barriers between the two schools were exaggerated. There is free access between the girls of both schools.
30% of the girls in the Chassidic school are Sephardi. 25% in the original school are Ashkenazi.
This was a philosophical division, not ethnic.

Even Yeshiva World News has bought in to the mainstream view that it was an Ashkenazic/Sephard division (“The sides, the Ashkenazi and Sephardi girls will complete the school year together…”). The sides were side A, Ashkenazim and Sefardim who agreed to higher religious standards, and side B, Ashkenazim and Sefardim who weren’t interested in abiding by the rules of stricter standards.

The agreement also calls for the right of the parents to establish a new school next year in accordance with the regulations drawn up by the Independent Education Center, the separate school they had been operating.

How about Bais Yosef glatt where the Sefardim are more stringent than Ashkenazim about certain lesions on the lungs of animals?
What about השלכת קיסם ? Askenazim apply across the board
both in referrence to pas Akum & bishul Akum sefardim apply only to Pas Akum amnd so on and so forth.

This is so ridiculous! The agreement is exactly what the machmir group wanted: to be able to establish a separate school that meets their religious standards. Had the stupid court agreed to this at the beginning, all would have ended OK. Also, the “compromise”, which the stupid court accepted, says that there won’t be any divisions, something that Chinuch Atzmai agreed and implemented long ago.
Had the stupid court opened their eyes to the emes, none of this court/jail/demonstrations would have happened.
The worrisome thing is that Israel is (or has) becoming a dictatorship of the secular court.
This is all part of the process. Let’s wait and see now who’s had enough of the Zionist money and who will realize the truth. Many are now willing to admit that the Satmar rebbe zt”l was right.

The Slonimer Rebbe spoke tonight and addressed all your questions and it was aired in all local media. The two things he said that we need to be Moisser Neffesh on and will not budge even if he is put in front of a firing squad
1- The rebbe said the school will not and cannot reunite.
The Rebbe proposed all along, that if all Schools in Imannual will come together for a three day seminar his school will join. Last night at 1:30 am Mr. Lalum was still not accepting this (untill Rav Ovadia got involved and left him no choice)
2- The judge up until this morning (see his letter that he wrote on Fri.) Insisted that the only way the parents will get out of jail, is if they sign that they accept the court order although it is inconsistent with Daas Torah
The parents said they will not sign and were released scot free
