[Free Translation]
In the wake of the terrible slander of the Israeli High Court against our precious brethren in the Holy Land community of Emmanuel dedicated to the word of Hashem, who have been sent to prison for their devotion to the religious education of their daughters, we protest mightily the outrage and sin committed against them, and the twisted decision to force upon them a system of education that is against their way of life and the opinion of their rabbis.
The erroneous notion that a secular court has an authority above that of the holy Torah as understood by those who hold its banner aloft falsifies the Jewish faith and undermines the fundamental belief that the Torah is not subject to change, that it alone determines the life-choices of a Jew and is not subject to the authority of any secular system of justice.
And we join wholeheartedly, along with hundreds of thousands of Jews around the globe, in the prisoners’ pain. May their hands be strengthened. Fortunate are they for bearing the honor of Hashem and the Jewish religious tradition on their shoulders at this time.
May it be Hashem’s will that the name of Heaven be venerated in our times, and that His honor fill the entire earth.

it doesnt speak no ‘wonders’..the words are powerful words, if you have any dass torah at all.one who understands what the underlying means can say it is begader ‘yeharag ve al yvor..like ‘gias bonos’

It’s just breathtaking to see Agudah circles echoing the ideas and slogans of Satmar and even (classical) NK! זאת התורה לא תהא מוחלפת was made into a Satmar song; אל תגעו במשיחי – that’s what Satmar Rebbe zt”l has been crying for decades; בדרך התורה נלך באש ובמים… לקדש שם שמים – why, that’s part of a song authored by R’ Amrom Blau zt”l in jail!

How about a parallel statement from the Moetz’ expressing the hope that discrimination against Jews that don’t look or talk like you should never be considered acceptable among anyone calling themselves Orthodox. Even if bigotry wasn’t behind this case, everyone knows it’s rampant in the Israeli Chareidi world (much more so than in the American Yeshiva world). I’d like to see the Chareidi world put 10% of the effort put into this ’cause celebe’ to instead work on some of the real problems in the Chareidi world – and why not start with condemning bigotry against Sephardim?

My brother is Charedi and moved to Israel a year ago; his 9 year old son who went to Mir in New York was rejected from Yeshiva after Yeshiva for the same reason; the roshei hayeshiva first asked him; why do you not send your kids to a sefaradi yeshiva and then they said we do not accept sefardi kids. Wake up! there is a real problem with discrimination in the charedi community in Israel. W
