A judge dismisses several dozen defendants from lawsuits seeking to blame individuals, banks and foreign entities for the September 11th terror attacks.
Four half-brothers and a nephew of Osama bin Laden were among those dropped from the litigation.
Victims of the attack and insurance carriers filed the lawsuits seven years ago, claiming that bin Laden’s family protected his financial interests as he was building his terrorist network in the 1990s.
The judge ruled that the plaintiffs failed to prove the Saudi family’s involvement contributed to the attacks.

You would have a very hard time proving that family members were involved, especially since most of them lived in countries (such as Saudi Arabia) that would have executed people for helping Osama (remember,he is trying to overthrow the Saudi government – which is how this whole thing started years ago). That the case was brought sounds like American lawyers doing what they are famous for – sue first, ask questions later.
akuperma, are you on such good terms with the Saudi government to know that for a fact?
Akuperma is absolutly sorrect. Saudi Arabia revoked his citizenship long before the US public eveer heard his name. When they prohibit something the enforcement is much more radical than what we have herer. They just execute people.
