Spirit Airlines customers will be scrambling to find other flights again today as a pilots strike enters its second day.
The airline has canceled all of today’s flights. This, after more than 400 pilots hit the picket lines on Saturday.
The strike has grounded flights at airports across the country, including LaGuardia.
The airline has been refunding tickets and trying to get passengers onto flights on other carriers.
The pilot’s union says its members have been working in substandard conditions and at below-market rates for years.
Spirit’s CEO says no new talks are scheduled with the pilots.
The company says it’s offer includes a raise of 30 percent over five years, a signing bonus and a larger retirement plan match.
