11:54AM IL: A major response was ordered a short time ago following a reported explosion in a chemistry lab in Hebrew University’s Givat Ram campus in Yerushalayim. MDA ambulances responded along with Hatzalah, Environmental Ministry hazmat units and other specialists, not knowing the complexity of the situation.

At this time, there are reports of three injuries. The condition of the injured is not known. One person is being transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.

12:19PM IL: One person, apparently a PhD lab official, was injured during an experiment. It appears his condition is light.
