The Jewish community in Turkey announced they received with regret the Israeli attack against Mavi Marmara and said they back the protests in Turkey.
The Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Turkey made a statement, saying they have received with sadness the military intervention against the Mavi Marmara vessel.
The statement said “We share the reaction in our country against this kind of final initiative and express our sadness to the public.”

Wow – Reb Aharon has Turkish Chasidim!
check their yichus!!!
Of course they have to say this or else every jew in turkey will be turned into a lamp shade
Pure self-protection. May H’ protect our brethren everywhere
what else can he possibly say. he has a giant gun to his communities head.
What would have been the reaction in the world if it had been IRAN who had done what the State of Israel did?? Heck, we’d be on the verge of WOrld War Three!!
Why is it when a Jew says something critical of the State of Israel it means he has a gone to his head (in Iran, Turkey, Morocco), but when a Jew says something pro-Israel (in the USA, Canada, Britain) he doesn’t have a gun to his head? Isn’t it a chutzpa to be mezalzel another Jew because he opposes the behavior of the State of Israel? Weird, no?
Sorry, I meant a GUN, not a GONE.
goodyidel- not weird, it is just when you speak on behalf of the State of israel, you speak on behalf of over six million jews and worry about their welfare- when you say something as deeply negative as the chief rabbi said- you put those six million jews in jeapordy…i am not condemning him for the words, i am criticizing you for not seeing the difference…
goodyiddel
just admit that you are an nk so that ywn can ban you
turkey has been jailing kurdish children without charge and bombing kurdish civilians
notice that the world is silent about these acts?
notice that no one has called for a goldstein commission to investigate turkish war crimes?
notice that no one has asked for the turkish siege on sovereign kurdish land to end?
Goodyiddel, there are people in the world whose super-extreme anti-Zionist views take them very, very far.
And I did not mean the Rabbi from Turkey.
goodyiddel, you sure you are not that apostate from Queens that converted from Judaism and became a Muslim?
