As Israel is engaged in a life and death diplomatic struggle following the Gaza flotilla commando operation, Jerusalem’s radical Neturei Karta fringe feels the time is right for an anti-Israel protest, waving PLO Flags in Meah Shearim and decrying the “crimes” of the Zionists at sea today.
The pashkavilim state “The Yishuv is in danger”, calling on supporters to decry Israel’s commando raid which is being labeled a “crime”. The protestors accuse the IDF of inciting the international community against the Yidden, and fueling the flames of hate against Am Yisrael.
Organizers are calling on the Torah community to come out and loudly condemn the IDF’s actions, to “condemn the Zionist’s crimes” and to state emphatically that the Zionists are not part of Am Yisrael but an unwanted sect that “hounds us everywhere we go”.
The “atzeres tefilla” got underway at 7:30am local time.

There is one thing being against the Median vs. supporting the PLO. The Satmer Rebbe’s shita was never to support the Arabs or other jew murderers. The Rebbe himself on multiple occasions called together people for Tehillim when Israel was being attacked or engaged in warfare.
