Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday underwent a second round of questioning in the ongoing Holyland investigation, facing police investigators for another eight hour session. The former national leader faces suspicions of accepting bribes and an array of related white collar crimes.
Also questioned on Sunday by police was attorney Uri Messer, a longtime partner of Olmert, who also served in the past as his attorney.
Olmert is the last major suspect questioned in the case, apparently police wished to learn from the others what information and proof could be gathered against the former prime minister prior to summoning him for questioning.
