The self proclaimed champions of human rights making their way to the Gaza shore, hoping to break the Israeli naval blockade on Hamas-controlled Gaza, continue to compare Israel and the IDF to the Nazis.

Greta Berlin who is a senior organizer of the flotilla told the media the IDF wants to arrest the members of the humanitarian mission and place them in concentration camps.

The boats are expected to arrive on Saturday, and despite an Israeli request to Turkey, Greece, Ireland and Cyprus, to avoid a confrontation and halt outside territorial waters, only Cyprus responded positively. Cypriot officials told Israel they will not permit flotilla vessels to pass through its waters to Gaza. Israel explained the humanitarian cargo can be unloaded and it will be delivered to Gaza after it clears a security inspection.

It is clear by their refusal to comply that the intended mission is nothing more than a media ploy against Israel and a far cry from the pristine humanitarian mission being portrayed.

If the need arises, the hundreds of people on board the boats will be taken into custody, taken to the Port of Ashdod, and sent home on a flight, paid for by Israel. Those unwilling to cooperate and sign the necessary papers and take the flight home will be placed in jail. The Beersheva Prison has been prepared for the event.

Naval officers have been preparing for the arrival of the flotilla and military officials report they are ready for any eventuality. The Israel media team is also preparing for what will be a challenging weekend as the international press awaits the arrival of the vessels. There will be a media blackout on naval operations at sea the IDF Spokesman’s Office reported earlier in the week.
