Deputy Minister of Health Yaakov Litzman on Sunday cut the internet broadcast providing live coverage of the ongoing exhumation of kevarim from the hospital building site from a ministry website. The minister stated that since the hospital is a government facility, according to law, media interviews may not be carried out without obtaining ministry permission. Therefore, he used his authority to halt the live feed broadcast.

The Israel Antiquities Authority on the other hand is not under the jurisdiction of the Health Ministry and officials have opted to keep the webcam feed operational.
