Mrs. Garfinkel, a’h, always regarded her survival during the war a miracle. A member of the shearis haplaita, Mrs. Garfinkel was determined to exact her revenge on Hitler, yemach shemo, by perpetuating and strengthening Torah and Yiddishkeit. She and her husband, Yehuda, z”l, were pillars of Frankel’s shul and raised their son, Avrohom, to value and treasure another Yid. Reb Avrohom will dedicate a Shuvu classroom l’iluy nishmosa.
