The spokesman unit of Shaare Zedek Hospital on Sunday afternoon 2 Shevat provided an update on two victims of the fatal bus accident near Maale Levona last week. Two people including the driver were killed when the bus fell hundreds of meters into a ravine.
A 20-year-old female who sustained serious trauma to her head, chest and abdomen remains in an intensive care unit. Baruch Hashem earlier in the day she was removed from the respirator and is now breathing spontaneously.
The second is a 14-year-old female listed in moderate condition. She too is breathing unassisted. She sustained injuries to her chest and pelvic regions and remains in an intensive care unit as well.
Both patients are conscious and alert.
