Two retired IDF major-generals have announced they are joining the ranks of the Machane Tzioni. Former Southern District Commander Yomtov Samiyah and former Northern District Commander Amiram Levine, both holding the senior positions in the 1990s, have made the decision to enter the political arena. They join retired Major-General Eyal Ben-Reuven, who is already a party member.
Samiyah used his Facebook page to explain “During the past year I studied the political system and its parties from the position as a bench player looking on from the side and I saw the nation which is dear to me falling apart”.
He added he selected Machane Tzioni because he is a believer in the ideals of centrists, Ben-Gurion and Menachem Begin and he feels it will represent a true centrist view. He does not believe the current Likud policy is representative of these values and this led him to Machane Tzioni.

It’s no surprise that the Israeli establishment is with the radical left
There is nothing zionist about the Zionist camp
#2 There’s nothing Jewish about this Zionist camp, formerly known as Labor party, but it surely is a typical Zionist G-dless party.
