Winter weather is returning to Israel with forecasters promising a stormy erev Shabbos and Shabbos. Temperatures in Jerusalem on Wednesday, 27 Teves are expected to climb to 69-70F (19C), unseasonably high, accompanied by some local showers. There was an early morning drizzle in Yerushalayim.
Temperatures are expected to continue dropping on Thursday, accompanied by a 60% chance of rain in the capital. On Friday, the high will be 10C (50F) with heavy rainfall expected. There are flood warnings for nachals in the eastern and northern Negev area with wind gusts between 40-70KPH. Temperatures will continue to drop towards nightfall and snow accumulations are expected in areas of the Golan Heights, areas above 800 meters.
The stormy weather is expected to continue into Shabbos day, with intermittent showers from the north to the northern Negev. Snow accumulations may be expected in northern colder areas above 800 meters.
It will become even colder on motzei Shabbos and frost conditions are expected in many areas, which may result in ice conditions on sidewalks and streets. Snowfall is not expected in Jerusalem.

It’s supposed to rain north in the Galilee over the next three days, which means more water into the Kinneret , hopefully. It’s still under the 1st Red Line, they had a good December, but winter is almost over, so let’s hope and all daven during the Amidah for abundant rain
