Menachem Stauber, a 27-year-old chareidi resident of Bayit Vegan, Jerusalem, is an attorney by profession. It was he who filed a complaint against those behind the ‘chardakim’ campaign and in recent months, he has begun defending chareidi arrested for failing to report for military service or register for military service.
After Yeshivas Kol Torah he decided to enter the IDF and was assigned to the military prosecution. During his service, he filed against those responsible for the ‘chardakim’ campaign and following his completion of service, he began defending chareidim in trouble with draft authorities.
Today, despite the vast difference in hashkafa, Tauber is in touch with askanim in Meah Shearim, including Rav Shimon Sisa, representing many of the talmidei yeshivos wanted by military authorities.

What is the legal basis for defending these bochurim against charges of violating the IDF draft rules. Is he claiming that they were eligible for deferrals that were denied or simply that they don’t want to have to serve?
Accuracy is not pertinent at The Yeshiva World
What is the attorney’s name Stauber or Tauber ?
