Amona residents on Sunday night informed Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Bayit Yehudi party leader Minister Naftali Bennett that the deal signed with the government is null and void and they are once again calling on supporters to come and join them in resisting eviction from the community.
In the letter, which was aired on Channel 2 News, they write “An agreement was signed on 17 December between residents of Amona and representatives of the State of Israel to accept the plan formulated by the Prime Minister’s Office. The agreement called for establishing 42 homes and 10 public buildings on plots 38, 54, 28, 29, and 30 in Bloc 21 on Har Amona. ‘Work will begin immediately’ the agreement states.
“In the interim, 34 days have passed since the agreement and two weeks remain to implement the ruling of the High Court of Justice to evacuate the area and wipe out Yishuv Amona. Absolutely nothing has happened yet. Not a single tractor is working to prepare the area for implementing the agreement as proposed by you and agreed between us”.
“We and the entire tzibur feel that you personally are leading us and the entire tzibur astray, with an emphasis on right-wing voters in the national camp. How is it possible that over a month ago you committed that work will commence immediately while nothing has happened? How is it possible that in two weeks a community in Yehuda and Shomron will be wiped out and from your perpsctive, its ‘after the flood’, business as usual?
“What remain for us is to renew the public battle with full force, to call on thousands of supports to come to Amona and to stand at our side and do everything possible to prevent the expulsion given the situation that we never thought could exist – non-compliance with the agreement.
“We will not agree to another plan and the only thing that will prevent confrontations that you the political echelon will be responsible for is a law legislating the status of Amona.

Enough already. Much work is required before tractors start working. Stop with all the trouble making.
Yagel libi! Easy for you to say enough with the trouble…while you are comfortably at home!! These ppl are being kicked out their own homes. Imagine for a second what that would feel like
Ask Mr Trump, he will say ‘stay in your homes” and he would be right!
#2- They lost all of their court cases and a valid court order of eviction stands against them. Their predicament is not of the government’s making, but the government stepped in to help them nonetheless. No matter how unpleasant their situation is for them, their call to resist the government and the IDF – with all of the ugliness that such actions would surely cause – bites the hand that came to their assistance in their hour of need and is wholly and utterly unwarranted and unmentschlach.
