Next week, Highway 1, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway will be shut beginning 10:00PM until Friday at 10:00am to permit opening the new area of the highway, the Latrun Interchange to Ginot Sakharov. In the interim, residents of Mevasseret Tzion has turned to the High Court in the hope of preventing the opening of the tunnel.

On Thursday night, the eve of 22 Teves, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway will close at 22:00 until 10:00 Friday morning to permit activating the new portion of the highway
