Magen David Adom has added 24 new two-wheeled response vehicles to the fleet this week, with 16 being assigned to the Jerusalem district. the operators of the new response vehicles will include EMTs and paramedics and they should be on the road in the coming days, after completing the last phase of driver training.
They will join the fleet of over 200 two-wheeled response vehicles operating nationwide, with MDA signaling more are expected in the near future.
The two-wheeled response vehicles are capable of getting through traffic, permitting responders to treat and stabilize a patient until the arrival of an ambulance.
