The Ministry of Environmental Affairs announced on Monday morning 11 Teves that due to expected sandstorms, there will be high air pollution levels in the Negev and Aravah areas. The incoming weather will be moving in from the southwest bringing the storm from Egypt to Israel.
The ministry warns ‘high-risk’ populations including the elderly, children and pregnant women to avoid physical exertion outdoors during this time period.
