is anyone else bothered by the fact that dozens of uniformed, armed soldiers are running and ducking for cover instead of attempting to neutralize a terrorist in the middle of an attack on civilians and/or fellow soldiers?
horrible and don’t mean to be a cynic but why are most of the soldiers running away from the scene?…I know it’s traumatic but I would assume they would be trained to run to the fire not away….just a question
my first reaction as well. I guess that this is the kind of soldier you get when the government forces servce in the idf.
So pathetic, the Israeli soldiers running away and not stopping the terror. Just great!
#1 After what IDF Sgt. Elor Azariya went through for killing a terrorist with blood on his hand and having to sit in jail for that, do you blame the soldiers for running away?
THE MAFIA BEGATZ (COURT IN ISRAEL) is to blame for this attack and for the murder of 4. Let these Sodomite judges neutralize the terrorists – they and Bugi Yaalon and all the Left.
How can you sit there and type criticism of anyone’s reaction? You know nothing about the situation. Nothing about the age, skill or training levels of the soldiers (who could have been new recruits), and certainly nothing about what happens when 60 people from different positions start firing guns at a central target. Yungerman123, ahavas_yisroel, and other keyboard warriors have the chutzpah to comment on how these soldiers reacted while the dead are unburied and the injured are still fighting for their lives. How ironic.
ahavas_yisroel ;
You have none. What does one have to do with the other?
How about the mesiras nefesh of the IDF overall? We don’t know yet what happened in that moment, so can we wait awhile before we condemn? I also had this question but first let’s get some more info on who those soldiers were.
#1 The purpose of the IDF is not to kill terrorists but to pursue their bigger enemy: the chareidim and religious Jews, and secularize them, as well as to expel Jews from their homes.
No magazines. No ammo. a pretty rational policy for a conscprit state to reduce accidents. But the officers should have – and I think did – have sidearms.
Firstly, they are cadets. Who knows how recent they were drafted? Secondly, I don’t think they had any weapons. Yes, I too thought it was shocking to see them scatter, but ZionGate says it well.
I’m just surprised we haven’t heard from our favorite Israel-hater, AlterG. Cat got your tongue? Could it be that even you regret the loss of Jewish lives? Probably was too busy fasting & vaynen to check on his hidden Internet.

Perhaps this article may be of some explanation for all those people wondering why the soldiers ran instead of firing at the terrorist: http://www.onlysimchas.com/news/45546/fadi-el-kanbar-identified-as-terrorist-in-deadly-idf-ramming.
