Deputy Minister of Education Meir Porush and his son, Elad Mayor Yisrael Porush, were attacked by zealots on Friday night in Zichron Moshe. Police are investigating.
According to the report, they were physically attacked on Friday night by a group of sikrikim. The victims refused to file an official police complaint but police have nonetheless launched an investigation.
According to eyewitness testimony, the two ignored the shouts and continued walking however, it got worse and they were targeted with items, assaulted physically and shtreimals were knocked off their heads as they were spat upon and kicked. It is reported a man in his 40s chased the attackers away, permitting them to continue on their way.
