This article doesn’t say how it happened. But I want to tell you what goes on. Pedestrians are always walking on the tracks. The other day, I was riding the train and standing behind the driver. People were crossing the tracks in front of the oncoming train! I was really impressed with how carefully she was driving. The trains have to drive so slowly to avoid running over people. If people would stay off the tracks, we could get places faster.
