Cleared for publication: In a joint operation involving Israel Police and the Shin Bet, two eastern Jerusalem residents were arrested, residents of Kfar Aqav and A-Ram, and interrogated for allegedly passing information pertaining to telecommunications companies’ security databases which they had access to by virtue of their work. The information was given to PA (Palestinian Authority) security agents.

One works for a telecommunications company and the second into marketing and the owner of a cellular products business. They are facing suspicions of contacting enemy agents, breach of trust and extortion. Their remands were extended a number of times. No additional information is released at this time.
