The chareidi tzibur in Yerushalayim on Thursday afternoon 22 Kislev began gathering on Bar Ilan Street for another protest against the situation in Arad vis-à-vis the Gerrer community in that city and City Hall.
As a result of the efforts of Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, a Gerre Chossid, the chareidi tzibur around Israel has held a number of protests this week, with one getting underway in the Bar Ilan area of the capital today. Protests were also held this week in Ashod and Bnei Brak.
The message is that the discriminatory policies against the Gerre tzibur is Arad are being viewed as directed at the chareidim nationwide, who are standing united.
According to Litzman, the approximately 1,200 families in Arad are being discriminated against by the security mayor when it comes to allocating schools, budgets and other services.
