Keeping their word to escalate the battle against Arad City Hall, thousands of chareidim were on hand in Arad on Wednesday 21 Kislev to protest.

The participants filled HaRav Levine Boulevard to send a clear message to Mayor Nisan Bar-Hamo of the Yesh Atid party.

Among the mispallalim taking part were prominent rabbonim and admorim.

The city’s Gerre Chassidim accuse the mayor of decimating against them, insisting they are not getting a fair share of the budget despite the continued growth of their community which now numbers about 1,200 families.
