Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has announced Israel is willing to take in an treat Aleppo wounded, women and children, and men too if it can be established that they are not combatants. The Prime Minister has instructed the Foreign Ministry to begin seeing how the nation can expand its assistance in the form of treating the wounded.
During a New Year’s toast event for the foreign media on Tuesday, 20 Kislev, Prime Minister Netanyahu stated “We see the tragedy of terrible suffering of civilians and I’ve asked the Foreign Ministry to seek ways to expand our medical assistance to the civilian casualties of the Syrian tragedy, specifically in Aleppo where we’re prepared to take in wounded women and children, and also men if they’re not combatants.”
The Prime Minister went on to explain that while Israel may not be able to resolve the war in Syria, it can mitigate some of the suffering.
