MK (Machane Tzioni) Amir Peretz, a former party leader, announced on Monday 19 Kislev, he is once again going to be among contenders for the party’s top spot. The party’s election as scheduled to be held in July 2017.

At present, it appears current leader MK Yitzchak Herzog will seek reelection and other contenders may include MK Ariel Margalit and MK Shelly Yacimovich.
