Amona residents have rejected the deal brokered by Bayit Yehudi leaders Naftali Bennet and Ayelet Shaked and all that remains now, is the force eviction of the forty families by security forces by the High Court deadline, 25 December 2016.
The details of the plan were explained to residents in detail and after hours of consultations, they announced they would not accept the plan that would permit them to remain in the same location, a plan that enjoyed the approval of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit.
Due to the late hour, even if the agreement would have been accepted they would have to have left their homes for a brief period if the court did not grant another one-month extension. During that time, the government would have brought in portable structures and begin setting up their new buildings in proximity to where they are located today. This would have been accompanied by a two-year permit to reside there during which time the government would work via legal channels to remove the names of absentee owners via the court and have Amona officially registered. The plan presented a real hope of having Amona registered legally in the same area once and for all, but it was rejected.
They explain if they had a guarantee that a Jewish presence would remain on the hill they would have accepted the deal but in this case, they do not, not past the two-year period since they would be at the mercy of the court’s decision.

Let us Jews have our land!
Down with anti-Torah tyranny!
Well so now it’s literally their problem and they are going to have to deal with the consequences. The government really tried to help them out and reached out to them, and as Rav Druckman told the Amona residents: Look at the half full cup which is much more than they expected and not at the empty side but they stubbornly refused to do so. What a shame they don’t understand the trauma that their coming expulsion will do to their kids!!
True heroes. Amona is very close or on the spot between Beit-El and Ai where Abraham offered offered sacrifices and prayed. All Eretz-Yisrael belongs to the Jewish people. Erev Rav is trying to give away eternal Jewish land to Arabs through legal warfare using other Jews as puppets. They will not succeed.
Maybe they should have accepted & worked to expedite legality.
Or maybe they just don’t trust the government and the courts.
Never forget that the GOI can solve all of this in a few minutes by annexing the area. They have the full and exclusive power to do so. Their feeble excuse that they are bound by the antics of Israel’s Supreme Cult is a lie. They are not.
This government cares more about what would the goyim/enemies say than about their citizens!!!
It needs to be fought tooth and nail to show them that the anti Jewish court cannot dictate their garbage on the citizens
And the kipa wearing AG is a disgrace!!!
If they won’t move 100 yards away with the support of the government in order to settle this thing then they do not deserve either sympathy or support.
