There are many Vaadei Rabbonim in Israel, including one addressing music, telephones, Shabbos, tznius and more. It appears that a new Vaad Rabbonim joins the group, a vaad concerning itself with the kashrus and character of the workplace.
The rabbonim shlita serving on this new committee met in the home of HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita and the rabbonim will reportedly be available to respond to telephone inquiries pertaining to the kashrus and character of a work place and the need to amend the existing situation. Needless to say the rabbonim received a warm bracha from Rav Kanievsky for at times, activities are at the expense of earning a living. Rav Chaim explained there is no doubt one’s livelihood is allocated on Rosh Hashanah לא ייגרע מאומה מחמת עמידה על הדין וסייגיו.

Do they have names and an address? As you mentioned, there are many Vaadot. Unfortunately many of them operate like secret societies. No one knows their names or where they meet to establish policy. This does not inspire respect for their activities. Often the only way to know what those policies are is from the posters slapped up on walls. They are usually sign by dozens of Rabbis. Many of whom when asked say they never heard of the organization and were not asked for permission for the use of their names. I hope this one will be different.
What would constitute an “issue” regarding the kashruth of the workplace? The hashgacha in the office cafeteria? A boss who uses obscenities? A receptionists whose skirt isn’t tziniusdik?
Clearly, this effort involving such a chashuve rav has some clear agenda but the article leaves unclear as to what issues prompted the creation of this new Vaad,
