Four youths in their 20s were killed in a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 431 on Sunday night the eve of 5 Kislev. The accident occurred near the Nes Tziona Interchange heading southbound. EMTs and paramedics operated on the scene but despite their life-saving efforts, the victims were pronounced dead on the scene.

According to the preliminary accident investigation reports, the vehicle in which the four were killed slammed into a parked commercial truck standing on the side of the road due to a mechanical malfunction.

MDA paramedic Meir Walder explains the sight was a difficult one as the vehicle was simply destroyed, totally crushed from the impact. The four were trapped inside, all unconscious and serious multisystem injuries.

The victims were all Israeli Arabs from Ramle, Lod and Akko.
