The Galil Hospital in Nahariya has sent several urgent requests to Nahariya City Hall for new compressors for their current trash compactor has stopped working. Officials report on Sunday, 4 Kislev that all requests to date have received the response “Correct, it must be replaced but we await a permit to do so from the city”.

Hospital officials point out the situation is becoming increasingly serious by the day and immediate action is required. As a result, contact has been made with district health officials to make them aware of the situation since the mounting trash poses a hazard to the health of patients as well as medical caretakers as well as community residents.

It is pointed out that Nahariya City all is responsible for compacting and removing trash from the hospital compound.
